Class: 6 - Lesson: 13 Advanced Programming (Create New Costumes of Sprite and Backdrop)

Purpose: To learn to create new costumes and backdrops using the paint tool, and to generate costumes using AI image tools.

Material Required

Scratch 3.0.

Prior Knowledge

Students should know:

  • Sprites and backdrops.
  • Looks and motion blocks.
  • Exercises

    Exercise 1



    1. For the sprite (Beetle), create one more costume, and create a new sprite of your own choice using the Paint control.

    Exercise 2



    1. Generate costumes using AI image generation with Gemini or other AI tools, so that the same sprite can be given different costumes for animations.

    Exercise 3



    1. Create a backdrop and a sprite using the paint options. Draw the picture below in a Scratch file using the paint tool.
